Yearly Device Insurance Information
YEARLY DEVICE INSURANCE
- The yearly device insurance fee is $15, cash or check only. (no cards)
- Students who pay the yearly insurance are allowed to take their device home at night, on weekends, over breaks, and over the summer.
- Students who pay insurance also receive a discount on device repair and replacement costs for most accidental damages.
- Students who pay insurance also receive a discount on device repair and replacement costs for most accidental damages.
- Seated and Blended students who choose to opt out of the insurance will have their device placed in Daily Check-in/Check-out.
- Students who choose to opt out of the insurance are not allowed to take their school-issued device home. They can only use it at school during school hours. (7:35 am - 2:40 pm)
- Students in Daily Check-in/Check-out who fail to return their device at the end of the day will receive an office referral and have their device disabled until it is returned to the HelpDesk Supervisor.
- Opting-out of the insurance does not mean the student won’t have to pay for damages to their device. If the student's device is damaged, lost, or stolen, they will not receive the insurance discount and may have to pay full repair costs and/or full replacement costs.
